Explore the ancient Vasai Fort

If you have interest in history, exploring the Vasai or Bassein Fort can be one of the most unique experiences to have in Mumbai as most travelers reach the city with a fantasy to click pictures in front of Mannat and Jalsa (which is also an experience in itself but not for history buffs like you). Vasai Fort was owned by the Portuguese Army but the Marathas overtook the site. Today, the fort is almost in ruins with just the rock pillars and three chapels.
