Avengers Endgame at the Top of US Box Office Film History

It is nothing new for Avengers to drive its aficionados and devotees to a state of frenzy whenever it has been released in the preceding years. However, the release of end game has shattered multiple box office records. In every corner of the world, all the Avengers fans have not missed the first day and the first show. Anyone cannot be seen missing Endgame.

Endgame marks the end of an era for Avengers. Avengers Endgame which is the end of Marvel’s eleven-year-old narrative is also known as the infinity saga. It has grossed 1.2 billion all throughout the world in its opening weekend. As it is to our knowledge that Endgame is the 22nd film which has been produced by Marvel studios has not only broken all records but has turned out to be the biggest worldwide debut. It has fundamentally altered what Hollywood perceives is even possible for a film’s financial success.

If we are to consider Endgame’s global box office record then we should keep in mind also the fact that after opening internationally in 21 international markets which also includes China, Endgame has already earned 643.70 million as it has been estimated. A week after its release it has already earned up to 156.70 million on the very first day in the United States. That could be remarked as the best worldwide opening ever. This record has literally surpassed the 640 million record made by the release by Avengers: Infinity War in the previous year. Endgame could now be characterized as:

• The biggest worldwide opening where it grossed 1.2 billion.
• Endgame is the fastest to reach one billion worldwide in just 11 days.
• It is the top North American opening. The film’s estimated domestic debut is that of 350 million which is way higher than Avengers: Infinity War or the Star Wars: The Force Awakens which are record holders from the previous years.
• Top daily totals have amounted to rupees 60 million on Saturday and Sunday.
• Endgame is considered as one of the biggest international debuts. The 859 million totals for outside North America smashed the previous record held by Fate of the furious with 443 million.
• Avengers: Endgame led the overall North American box office to its first 400 million weekends, obliterating the record of 314 million set by a year ago by another box office hit release Avengers: Infinity War.

Though some are doubtful of the fact that Avengers: Endgame has a long way to go yet to beat and take over Gone with the End which remains as the highest grossing movies till date. However, it has just been a week that Avengers: Endgame has been released and it is already breaking all records and making its way to the top. Avengers: Endgame raised questions about the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe but gives plenty of clues. Disney was off with its box-office estimates and it turns out Avengers: Endgame made more money. Avengers: Endgame has come to theatres in April and July respectively but apart from that details are scarce about the MCU’s future. The world has eight release dates set for yet to be titled movies. Avengers series has never failed to disappoint its audience and it still continues to entertain its audience on an equal pace. However, the Endgame has pulled its fans down in terms of emotions. Avengers: Endgame has first been released in the US and it has broken all records in a week. The theatres are filled with audiences every day. The tickets are being sold at a rapid rate. It has been reported that when Endgame has been released officially on Friday in the US, all the theatres were crowded.

It was expected enough that Avengers: Endgame would surely be a blockbuster. The ease and the rate at which the film has made a box office history have taken the film analysts by surprise. The movie has made a profound 1.2 billion globally in the first week shattering the opening total of its predecessor. It is being predicted that the record would not be broken soon. Now that much has been discussed about Endgame, it is probable that the film would pass the 2 billion mark worldwide and could threaten Titanic for the honor of the second highest-grossing film of all times. It has already gained massive success but is still failing to surpass Cameron’s Avatar in 2009 but let us be hopeful that it will.
