The Indian Cricket selection committee head MSK Prasad has announced the team for Cricket World Cup 2019 on April 15. He made the decisions to include Vijay Shankar and Kedar Jadhav in the 15 member squad. The team will be led by Virat Kohli as captain, Dinesh Karthik as the second wicketkeeper. A Few middle-order batsmen tried after Champions trophy includes Karthik, Shreyas, and Manish Pandey. We did give more chances to Rayadu but Vijay Shankar gives three dimensions. He can bat if the conditions are overcast but he can bowl, plus he is a fielder. Also, Prasad told that KL Rahul has been picked as the reserve opener in the squad, but he can bat in the middle order if the team management needs.

We are looking at Vijay Shankar as No: 4. Now we have plenty of options for the slot, MSk Prasad said after the squad was announced. Also, Prasad said that KL Rahul has been picked as the reserve opener in the squad, but he can bat in middle order if the team management wants him to.

The stage is almost set. The clouds over the iconic stadium in London are expected to clear and the tricolor will once again flutter from the top of the balcony at Lord’s. Then, the national anthem goosebumps. And with this, it begins, in just a few months time, India’s best chances of winning the 50 over world cup. Almost every cricket pandit has predicted an India-England final at lords, given how the two sides have shown promise and consistency over the past years.

Unfortunately, the Team of India is trying to discover their 15 best players for cricket’s most prestigious tournament, and with just one bilateral series remaining before the world cup, India will try to answer the unanswered. Though the selectors have chosen a few players, its no secret that some slots are still up for grabs.

The openers of the team include Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, and Rishabh Pant. India vice-captain Rohit Sharma has been around for a while. He and MS Dhoni are the only two players featured in the 2007 T20 world cup and also will be part of World cup 2019. Shikar Dhawan is known as the man for ICC tournaments and he has proved it with its form. The team generally prefers to play major tournaments with an extra opener in case of injury.

In the case of middle-order batsman include Virat Kohli, Kedar Jadhav, and Vijay Shankar.

The role of wicketkeeper is taken either by MS Dhoni or Dinesh Karthik. Its often said that keeping is a thankless job. Before the start of the Australian tour, many raised an eyebrow at Dhoni’s inclusion at the sides. Dinesh Karthik may be the second keeper option for the team. With India playing nine league games, the management may opt to rest Dhoni for a game or two. The all-rounder Hardik Pandya has proved to be a revelation for the Indian team over the past years.

Indian spinner bowlers include Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, and Yuzendra Chahal has grown by leaps and bounds. Yadav and Chahal have not only been able to prove their stature at the international level but have made such a mark that the opposition invests the most time and energy in crafting strategies against these two wrist spinners. It is certain that both of them will debut their skills in World cup, 2019. On the other hand, fast blowers community includes Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Mohammed Shami,. Therefore India has time and again been told that a good bowling attack is more lethal than a power-packed batting line. Its world cup is likely to be led by right arm quick Jasprit Bumrah, whose ability to extract wickets even on docile tracks makes him a go man for any side.
