Republic day of India – How celebrates on 26th January Every year

History of Republic Day of India:

After independence in India, Drafting Committee chaired by Dr. BR Ambedkar presented the Constitution to India. It came into effect on 26th January 1950. This day was chosen because Indian National Congress had demands Purna Swaraj from the Colonial rule of the British era in 1930 on the same day.

A retreat ceremony is held to denote the end of republic day festivities from 26th to 29th January. During the performance on the last 29th January, Drummers play the “Saare Jahan Se Achcha“(popular Indian martial). In the evening at 6 O’clock, Nation Anthem is sung after lowered the National Flag, indicate the ends of the Republic Day Celebration.
