Pre-wedding shoot in Delhi, Gurgaon And Now Madhya Pradesh

The pre-wedding shoot is a photography that is done by couples who are going to be married soon. Many couples go to different places in India like Delhi, Gurgaon, and Bangalore. Even though the wedding date is far, couples can meet and get themselves photographed by a professional photographer. Sometimes the pre-wedding shoot also includes engagement pictures as well. A wedding photograph must not be like posing and smiling only. It should look eventful, and that is the basic concept of a pre-wedding shoot.

To promote Swach Bharat Abhiyan, Madhya Pradesh government announced that any groom who sends images of the pre-wedding shoot by taking a selfie in the toilet would get Rs.51000/-. Marriage is considered to be an auspicious event, and sometimes some rituals are un-ethical and have an extravagant display. A pre-wedding shoot is becoming popular day by day. Couples want to keep the memories by going for a photoshoot to various locations like Delhi or Gurgaon for a pre-wedding photoshoot in Delhi or pre-wedding photoshoot in Gurgaon respectively. But with these announcements, couples are sharing bathroom pics before the wedding and confirming whether their groom has a bathroom in their house or not.

According to the Mukhya Mantri Kanya Vivah/ Nikha scheme, to avail, the Rs 51000/- from the government a proof is required whether the groom to be a toilet in his house. The Mukhya Mantri Kanya Vivah/Nikah Scheme is done for economically backward sections. This is done to ensure that there is a toilet in all weaker sections of society. On December 18 last year, only a day after coming to power, the Congress government had hiked the financial assistance from Rs28,000 to Rs51,000. It led to a flood of applications, making it difficult for officials to assess each house for toilets.

Politicians on both sides, too, admit that grooms are left in an embarrassing position because of this cleanup mission, and wish there was a more graceful way of asking them to prove they have toilets.

The embarrassing wedding custom, however, is not just confined to the rural pockets of MP. In the state capital, Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials make the same demand.”The idea of grooms being required to prove they have a toilet before marrying is not a bad thing. The department of social justice has not issued any such directive. The implementation of the policy can be better,” J N Kansotiya, principal secretary of the department of social justice and disabled welfare, was quoted as saying by TOI.
